From an amateur orchestra in Kamyzyak to large-scale “Fairy Tale with Orchestra” projects. The story of a musician who turns the lack of sheet music into complete scores.
Born in Kamyzyak, Astrakhan region. I’ve been involved in music since the age of 7, specializing in brass instruments. I started in an amateur brass band under the guidance of Madaris Ismagulovich Chigirbaev — that’s where I first realized that music isn’t just notes, but teamwork where every sound matters.
I graduated from the M. P. Mussorgsky Astrakhan Music College and the Astrakhan State Conservatory with a major in French horn. These years gave me not only technical skills but also a deep understanding of orchestral texture, which is essential for high-quality arrangement work.
For over 7 years, I served as a musician in a military band and co-founded the cover band “KViN@” (Akhtubinsk). This experience taught me how to work across genres and adapt to any ensemble configuration.
Currently, I teach and lead the “Youth” Children’s Brass Band at the M. A. Balakirev RDSHI (Akhtubinsk). Working with children helps me constantly seek simple and clear solutions in notation, which directly improves the quality of my arrangements for adult ensembles.
Faced with the shortage of high-quality and accessible sheet music online, I began writing my own instrumentations — first for the “Fairy Tale with Orchestra” projects, and later for other performers. I’ve been doing arrangements since 2017, and since 2020 I’ve also been composing original works for French horn and piano.
